We were OVERJOYED this summer to find a new home in Columbia at Swank Boutique. Last week we celebrated the fall debut with a DIY event at the shop in Downtown Columbia. We had an awesome turnout and loved meeting all the local LDD fans. We even got a surprise visit from the paparazzi! (see pics.)
Here a few snapshots from the show.
This was a true passion project with my neighbor. She was wanting a special necklace for a Seattle wedding coming up and sent me a picture of her dress. I have been wanting to make a really organic-looking piece with some shiny rocks and marquis rhinestones and used this opportunity as my experiment.
My neighbor (guinea pig) was super pleased with the end product and I have a feeling she’ll get a lot more wear out of it than just to this wedding.
Purchase the Pyrite Asa Necklace here.
The necklace is named after her year-old son, Asa. This is him at our garage sale. He’s pretty adorable!
I always counted down the minutes in my boring math and science classes until Art would start. I’ve paid homage to those exciting periods lately in my designs.
I’ve been having so much fun dusting off my paintbrush lately, who knows what’s next!? Decoupage, anyone?
Handpainted Flame Necklace, $55
Painted Rhinestone Tier Necklace, $60 (in nude and multi)
Handpainted Cuffs: Elastic rows of rhinestone. Available in 3-row, 6-row and 9-row.
Fun handpainted pieces are arriving very soon to the shop at lilydawsondesigns.com
I’m coming for you, Saint Louis! I’ll be at Cha Boutique this Saturday from 12-5 with all new Spring pieces. Be there or be square!
The new Misha Necklace has become my go-to the last two weeks. And the SILVER one at that! I am a self-proclaimed gold girl and pride myself on NOT wearing the same accessories twice…not with this piece, chicas.
Maybe it’s the chunky chain or the funky neon rope. Whatever it is, the price is right at $35.
Here are a couple shots I’ve captured wearing it lately:
With the Leather Link Bracelet in White and Spiky Turquoise Ring
There’s something about that neon…

A behind the scenes look from today’s shoot. New items will be up this week! Stay tuned
.
So on Monday I posted this showing off the new Chain Link Ring on my digits, but as the day wore on I just became enamored with the thing. Thus, I had to document the rest of my week’s styling of the new ring until disaster hit (in the form of a paper cut to the neighbor-finger).
My week in the LDD Chain Link Ring:
Modeling the new Chain Link Ring in gold.
I hate cold, so I have been spending my time INSIDE…DESIGNING!
Here are some new products just added. This is just the tip of the iceberg, folks. Some A-MAZING items are in the works to be released for Winter and Spring. Eee!
